Business Development Intern – Acres | Apprenticely

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 3-month paid internship at Acres, located in Fayetteville, AR. Acres builds a map-based land intelligence platform that helps organizations discover solutions for complex business challenges. This role is crucial for identifying and engaging potential customers, supporting outreach, qualifying opportunities, and building the pipeline that drives Acres’ continued growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research Prospective Customers: Identify organizations and key decision-makers who could benefit from Acres’ land intelligence platform.
• Support Business Development Efforts: Assist with outbound outreach to introduce prospective customers to Acres and generate meaningful conversations.
• Qualify New Opportunities: Evaluate inbound and outbound leads by conducting initial discovery conversations and determining their fit.
• Maintain CRM Accuracy: Keep customer and prospect information organized within HubSpot by documenting outreach and updating records.
• Learn the Acres Platform: Develop a strong understanding of Acres’ products, customers, and markets to confidently communicate our value.

• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should be eager to learn how a technology company identifies new business opportunities.
• Experience: No prior specific experience required; this role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in market research, customer discovery, CRM management, and enterprise business development.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; enjoys research, technology, and learning about new industries.
