Sales Development Representative (intern) | HotTakes

The Tone:
This is an internship / early career role at HotTakes, located remotely. HotTakes operates a free-to-play sports platform, redefining how people engage with sports betting by making it interactive, social, and completely risk-free through gamified predictions. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in sales, partnerships, and business development within a startup, directly contributing to user acquisition and growth. Individuals will take ownership of expanding HotTakes within their networks and communities.

• Mission: Drive user growth and expand HotTakes within identified networks and communities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Growth: Drive user growth through outreach, referrals, and active community engagement.
• Visibility: Identify opportunities to increase HotTakes’ brand visibility within your target market.
• Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with student groups, communities, and local partners.
• Insights: Share feedback and user insights to support ongoing growth and strategic development.
• Events: Plan and host social activations, including watch parties, bar events, sports league and fraternity fundraisers, and online events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university or college student, or early-career individual. An interest in sales, partnerships, or entrepreneurship is beneficial.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Demonstrated ability in outreach, community engagement, and event coordination is advantageous.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset; comfortable working independently in a flexible environment.
• Bonus: Passion for sports and sports culture.
