The Tone:
This is an internship / early career role at HotTakes, located remotely. HotTakes is a free-to-play sports platform that redefines engagement with sports betting, making it interactive, social, and risk-free through gamified predictions. This role is crucial for driving user growth and expanding the platform’s presence within your network and community. You will gain hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, and business development within a startup environment.

• Type: Part-time (10-40 hours per week), summer-based, flexible
• Location: Remote
• Pay: $30 hourly (average BDA equivalent), commission-based, uncapped
• Mission: Drive user growth and increase brand visibility for HotTakes by engaging communities and identifying new opportunities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive: Drive user growth through outreach, referrals, and community engagement.
• Identify: Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility within your market.
• Build: Build relationships with student groups, communities, and local partners.
• Share: Share feedback and insights to support ongoing growth and strategy.
• Plan: Plan and host social activations such as watch parties, bar events, sports league and fraternity fundraisers, and online events.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university or college student.
• Experience: No specific years required; demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and a results-oriented mindset are key. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a flexible environment.
