Business Banking Relationship Manager 2 | U.S. Bank

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at U.S. Bank, offering a hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week. What You’ll Actually Do
• Acquire new business clients through robust business development and prospecting initiatives.
• Serve as the primary financial advisor for business clients, guiding them towards their financial goals.
• Cultivate, enrich, and manage new and existing relationships to build strong, long-term partnerships.
• Assess and attend to clients’ banking needs, educating them on relevant deposit and loan products and services.
• Recommend and deliver tailored financial solutions based on each client’s unique goals, partnering effectively with internal teams like Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and Business Banking Credit Card.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, combined with a strong understanding of business banking principles and client relationship management.
• Experience: Three to four years of relevant experience specifically in business banking, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully onboarding and retaining businesses with annual revenues ranging from $2.5 million to $25 million. This includes consistent success in meeting both quantifiable and qualitative targets.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the local market dynamics, ability to apply principles of credit risk management, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective partnership across various business lines within the bank.
• Bonus: Ideal candidate resides within the local market they serve.
