Job Description:
This internship is within the Twentieth Television Business Affairs Department. The department handles negotiations and drafts agreements for above-the-line talent (producers, writers, directors, actors, and casting directors) and underlying rights for scripted, live-action television programs produced by Twentieth Television for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. The department also supports ongoing series and other studio departments (development, production, finance, legal) and engages in ancillary activities.
Intern Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and maintain the internal database.
• Create and update charts to track the status of agreements.
• Collaborate with talent representatives, responding to their input on deal memos and short-form agreements.
• Participate in a variety of projects to develop skills in entertainment law, negotiation, and the television business.
