• Mission: Learn and manage the financial processes, budget submissions, revisions, month-end close, invoices, and contract analysis for assigned areas of the Marketing department.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budget Management: Submit and revise budgets for assigned areas within the Marketing organization.
• Financial Analysis: Track and analyze budgets, conducting detailed variance reviews to support decision-making.
• Month-End Close: Execute month-end close activities, including the creation of accrual and reclass journal entries.
• Contract & Invoice Oversight: Review invoices against contract parameters and track and manage contracts for assigned areas.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work as a subject matter expert in company financial processes and procedures, collaborating directly with the Marketing team on strategy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Early career level with core knowledge in Finance, Accounting, Data, Budget, Statistics, or Economics.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of related experience. Internship or work experience in a business setting is beneficial.
• Skills: Knowledge of corporate budget/accounting procedures, detail-oriented, precise, ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Business with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, Data, Budget, Statistics, or Economics, knowledge of Marketing concepts, knowledge of other Microsoft/Google tools, Hyperion, AI tools, or BI tools.
