Job Description:
Goldies is seeking a Brand & Social Media Intern to join their marketing team in a hybrid role based in San Diego, CA. This is a part-time internship with flexible hours, offered as paid or for academic credit. The intern will play a vital role in ideating, planning, and executing content and campaigns to expand the brand’s reach and engagement. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in startup brand-building, content creation, and digital strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other social channels.
• Create native-style UGC (user-generated content), including casual videos, selfies with the product, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Help manage and grow the online community through DMs, comments, and trend responses.
• Support brand campaigns and digital marketing initiatives, including paid social.
• Monitor trends, creator culture, and competitive brands for inspiration.
• Attend and assist with occasional in-person marketing events in San Diego (must be 21+).
• Collaborate directly with the founder on content and brand development.
Requirements:
• Current college student or recent graduate studying Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Passionate about branding, storytelling, and social-first content.
• Proficient in Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
• Comfortable being on camera or shooting casual content from your phone.
• Organized, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely in a startup environment.
• Ideally 21+ and based in the San Diego area for occasional in-person events.
• Previous internship, freelance, or personal brand work is a plus.
