Brand Manager, Respiratory – HCM | AstraZeneca

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at AstraZeneca, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. AstraZeneca is a global biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development, and commercialization of prescription medicines across key therapeutic areas, including Respiratory & Immunology. This role is crucial for managing the brand and therapeutic area within Respiratory, developing and implementing marketing plans to achieve specific brand objectives and positive patient outcomes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Brand Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including brand strategic, operational, and launch readiness plans, to achieve brand objectives.
• Financial Oversight: Build and manage the profit and loss (P&L) for assigned brands and therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Marketing Execution: Oversee and ensure successful and timely execution of marketing brand plans, implementing key promotional tactics to drive brand strategy and achieve goals.
• Digital Strategy & Campaigns: Support the development of the brand’s digital strategy, providing channel insights, recommending tactics, and leading the execution of digital brand campaigns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with medical, legal, and promotional compliance teams, as well as external vendors, to develop and execute high-impact marketing materials and personalized campaigns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is required, with science expertise preferred. This role requires a Manager-level professional.
• Experience: 3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience, including at least 1 year of marketing or adjacent marketing experience. Proven leadership skills with the ability to connect and collaborate across matrix organizations are essential, alongside demonstrated project management experience.
• Skills: Exceptional analytics capability, ability to think and execute innovative marketing plans, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the regulatory approval process.
• Bonus: A second degree (e.g., MBA, PhD), prior professional marketing experience, excellent command of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, self-starter mentality, and launch experience are desired.
