Brand & Campaign Strategy, Intern | Jacksonville Jaguars

The Tone:
This is an internship at Jacksonville Jaguars, located in Jacksonville, FL. The company is a professional football team and a member of the NFL’s AFC South Division, led by owner Shahid Khan, who has significantly invested in the team, stadium, and Northeast Florida community. The Jaguars are also undertaking major revitalization projects, including the Miller Electric Center, the Jacksonville Shipyards, and a reimagined “Stadium of the Future,” solidifying their future in Jacksonville. This role is crucial in supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns that advance the Jaguars brands and business priorities, offering an intern the chance to explore career interests, acquire marketable job skills, and gain practical experience in professional sports and entertainment.

• Team: Marketing Department, reporting to the Brand & Campaign Strategy Team
• Mission: Supports the development and execution of marketing campaigns that advance the Jacksonville Jaguars brands and business priorities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Contribution: Contribute to campaign planning and creative brainstorming sessions.
• Brand Research: Conduct brand research, including audits and industry trend tracking, and summarize insights to inform brand positioning.
• Asset Management: Moderate and organize marketing assets, departmental files, calendars, promotional materials, and inventory.
• Social Media Support: Support the creation and execution of social media copy, content, and graphics across multiple brands and platforms.
• Event and Influencer Assistance: Provide event support for brand activations, assist with on-site social coverage, and support influencer and creator partnerships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student (eligible for college credit OR graduated within 18 months of internship start date) with a basic understanding of brand strategy, marketing campaigns, and storytelling principles.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to deliver assigned tasks on time with superior attention to detail while managing multiple projects.
• Skills: Ability to analyze information and synthesize insights, excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, creative and strategic thinking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Bonus: Pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field, experience in the sports and entertainment marketing industry, familiarity with creative briefs and marketing calendars, interest and knowledge of the social media landscape, and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
