About Company

The New York Red Bulls (RBNY) are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS), and one of the league’s ten charter clubs, having competed since its founding in 1996. Their home matches are played at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The team is a three-time MLS Supporters’ Shield Winner and is owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull. The New York Red Bulls also operate one of the nation’s premier youth soccer development programs, including local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey, Regional Development Schools, and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

Job Description

This is an internship position within the Red Bull New York, Inc. Ticket Operations department, specifically for a Box Office Intern.

Purpose of Internship:
The role aims to seek qualified candidates to support the Ticket Operations department.

Self-motivation

Availability & Attendance:
Consistent availability on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday, – as well as game days is preferred.
Attendance at all Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) events is strongly encouraged. These events are generally held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Evenings, with some weekday events.

Internship Type:
This is an unpaid, for credit internship. Proof that you will receive college credit is required.

Knowledge and Expertise:
Currently enrolled in college; must be able to receive college credit.
Knowledge of and/or enthusiasm for soccer, the New York Red Bulls/MLS, and professional sports is a plus.

Work Hours and Environment:
• Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs. This includes working nights and weekends.
