This role is crucial because the Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, which directly supports daily operations, ensures compliance, and provides timely financial information for management decisions in a manufacturing setting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transactions: Record and reconcile financial transactions to maintain accurate records.
• Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to support financial reporting.
• Accounts: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and monitor cash flow for operational oversight.
• Compliance: Assist with payroll, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
• Experience: Proficiency in bookkeeping and journal entries to maintain accurate and organized financial records. Experience with financial statements and basic finance concepts to support reporting and decision-making. Hands-on experience with accounting software and related tools, including QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Excel, for daily transaction processing. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly and meet deadlines consistently.
• Skills: Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail; effective problem-solving skills for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Bonus: Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
