Bookkeeper | Complyance

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Complyance, located remotely in the United States. Complyance builds a fully AI-native, end-to-end platform for Enterprise GRC, backed by leading VC firms and serving major enterprises. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, managing multi-currency transactions, and ensuring compliance across UK and US operations as the company experiences hyper-growth. The Bookkeeper will support the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, helping to keep the business organized and compliant.

• Mission: Manage accurate financial records, multi-currency transactions, and payroll/compliance for UK and US operations during hyper-growth.
• Tech Stack: Xero

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records using Xero.
• Process: Process multi-currency accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and payments.
• Perform: Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and accounts.
• Prepare: Prepare monthly management accounts in line with FRS 102 (UK GAAP) standards.
• Support: Support comprehensive payroll processing and tax compliance for both US and UK employees.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven experience as a bookkeeper within a B2B SaaS company, with solid working knowledge of FRS 102 (UK GAAP) reporting requirements.
• Experience: Hands-on proficiency with Xero (essential), managing multi-currency transactions and reconciliations, and understanding US and UK tax and payroll requirements.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Relevant bookkeeping qualification (e.g., AAT) or equivalent experience; experience working in a fast-paced, remote, or scale-up environment.
