Bookkeeper | Fly My Group

This Bookkeeper position is crucial for maintaining accurate day-to-day accounting records, managing reconciliations, and ensuring precise financial documentation across the company’s systems and teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record: Record all invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, and adjustments connected with booking and traveler-service workflows.
• Reconcile: Reconcile bank, card, vendor, and customer activity, thoroughly investigating any differences before period close.
• Maintain: Maintain organized ledgers, supporting documents, and account schedules to facilitate recurring reporting requirements.
• Prepare: Prepare routine financial summaries, aging reports, and reconciliation notes for management review.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with travelers, suppliers, and internal travel teams to resolve missing documentation, coding questions, and payment discrepancies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles, obtained through practical experience or equivalent training.
• Experience: Practical bookkeeping or accounting-support experience, demonstrating working knowledge of debits, credits, reconciliations, invoices, and basic financial controls.
• Skills: Strong spreadsheet proficiency and careful attention to transaction-level accuracy, coupled with strong written communication skills for documenting work clearly in a remote setting.
