What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Data Entry & Recording: Receive all operational data to meticulously determine and execute the best method for accurately recording diverse financial information, including income, expenses, returned checks, bank charges, and detailed labor hours or codes, directly into the client’s designated bookkeeping system.
• Transaction Management & Reporting: Ensure all checks are properly endorsed and deposited, process all charge card transactions daily, report income and bank charge information, and develop detailed periodic reports for business clients regarding income, expenses, and gross taxes.
• Account Reconciliation & Ledger Balancing: Balance and reconcile client ledgers, which become part of the general ledger system, and reconcile cash and bank accounts on an agreed-upon basis by comparing account balances to other recorded sources.
• Comprehensive Payroll Services: Perform full payroll services as requested, including the preparation of payroll checks and all necessary monthly, quarterly, and annual employee and employer payroll reports, ensuring strict adherence to local, state, and federal wage and hour laws.
• Record Keeping & Process Improvement: Maintain a manual file system for hard-copy documents, identify issues with current processes, notify management and clients of concerns, and actively participate in training to continuously improve service delivery to clients.

• Experience: No previous work experience necessary.
