Job Title: Behavior Therapist Internship (Part-Time)
Location: Naperville, IL clinic and surrounding area
Job Type: Part-time with a minimum 6-month commitment.
Pay Structure:
• Hourly Rates:
• $19.00/hr for client sessions and office work (post RBT certification).
• $17.00/hr for client sessions and office work during in-person shadowing (pre-certification).
• $15.00/hr for RBT modules and virtual onboarding.
• Bonus: A $150 sign-on bonus is provided after 3 months of employment.
About The Role:
This internship involves providing one-on-one support to children with Autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). It’s a part-time position offering hands-on experience, ideal for students or recent graduates in psychology, education, or a related field who are motivated to work in this area.
Schedule:
• Shifts: Daytime and evening shifts are available, specifically 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend day is required.
• Work Setting: Sessions are in-person only, conducted in both in-home and in-clinic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Therapy Delivery: Provide direct ABA therapy in a clinical setting.
• Treatment Adherence: Follow treatment plans meticulously as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Data Management: Accurately collect and report session data within 24 hours of the session.
• Professional Development: Attend required training sessions and maintain consistent communication with your supervising BCBA.
• Compliance: Adhere to all ethical standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and professional conduct.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Prior experience working with children (paid or volunteer) is necessary.
• Skills: Must possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are mandatory.
• Certifications (Preferred): CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ideal Candidate: This role is ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in psychology, education, or behavior analysis.
