Fall 2026 Intern, Basketball Sales | Game Seven Agency

The Tone:
This is a paid hybrid internship at Game Seven Agency, located in West Hollywood, CA. Game Seven Agency offers participants the opportunity to gain practical experience and apply classroom learnings within the broader Excel organization. This role is essential for the Basketball Sales and Partnership team, contributing to the evaluation of new sponsorship opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting sales strategies to secure athlete endorsements. Interns will balance in-office experience with flexible work, contributing directly to the team’s success.

• Mission: Assist the Sales/Partnership team in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities, managing client data, and contributing to sales strategies for athlete endorsements.

What You’ll Actually Do
Sponsorship Evaluation: Assist the Sales/Partnership team in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities, providing foundational support for potential collaborations with ESM talent.
Data System Management: Manage and update the company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM), ensuring accurate and current information for sales and partnership tracking.
Prospect Identification: Identify new prospective companies for partnerships with ESM talent, detailing individual rationale and insights to inform team outreach strategies.
Sales Material Development: Learn to develop and provide detailed briefs on companies across various industries, preparing comprehensive support materials for prospective sales calls.
Sales Strategy & Trends: Routinely contribute to expanding the partnership team’s sales strategies and remain up-to-date with current sponsorship news and trends across all sports.

The Must-Haves
Background: This is an entry-level internship requiring candidates to either have a senior standing in college (having completed their junior year of undergraduate study), be currently enrolled in graduate school, or already hold a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.
Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience are explicitly required; however, applicants must be available to work 24-29.9 hours per week during the Fall 2026 program, with the expectation of reporting to the West Hollywood office approximately three days a week.
Skills: Demonstrated ability in research and analysis for identifying company prospects and developing briefs; proficiency in managing and updating data within systems like CRM; strong collaborative and communication skills to contribute to team sales strategies and ideas; and a keen interest in staying informed about current sponsorship news and trends across the sports industry.
Bonus: Eagerness to collaborate and contribute creative marketing ideas to support sales outreach efforts is encouraged.
