The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Flanigan’s, located in Florida. Flanigan’s is a family-run restaurant that serves continuously from open until late night, welcoming people from all over for great food, great drinks, and great fun. This role is instrumental in creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere and delivering memorable experiences to valued guests, helping the restaurant be a home away from home for many Floridians.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service with a cheerful and courteous temperament, always displaying a neat, clean, and professional image.
• Beverage Creation: Craft delicious beverages by mixing liquor and drink ingredients precisely according to company recipes and measures.
• Bar Operations: Maintain a pristine, organized, and properly stocked bar area at all times and ensure accurate pricing for all drinks and promotions.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to all company safety and sanitation policies, verify proper identification for legal drinking age, and assess guests’ demeanor to identify intoxicated individuals.
• Transaction Management: Accurately and efficiently enter orders into the POS system and handle guest payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensuring accuracy and timely change.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Fundamental understanding of beverage service and guest relations within a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Experience: Proven ability to serve food according to requisites, operate a POS system, and skillfully assess guest demeanor regarding intoxication.
• Skills: Fluent in spoken, reading, and written English; ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes; successful completion of the Florida Responsible Vendor program; successful completion of a food safety certification Vendor program.
