The Tone:
This is a full-time role with Constellis, located at the BAE-Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, VA. Constellis plays a critical role in maintaining the security and access control of this facility. This position is fundamental to upholding strict safety protocols by precisely managing identification badges for all individuals, safeguarding the plant’s operations. Accuracy and adherence to procedures are paramount to this vital security function.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Visitor Greeting: Greet all visitors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Access Processing: Meticulously process visitors in strict accordance with the BAE-Radford Army Ammunition Plant’s governing access control procedures.
• Information Verification: Ascertain the precise nature of each visit and obtain all necessary information to conduct appropriate queries and verify access requirements.
• Badge Assignment: Upon determining the nature of the visit and visitor status, assign the correct temporary access badge or other designated identifier used by BAE-Radford.
• Record Management: Retrieve and provide information regarding visitor entries and logs promptly upon request, maintaining accurate records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum a high school diploma or GED; this is an early career role requiring at least 1-2 years of administrative experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen, 21 years of age or older, and capable of obtaining and maintaining a US Government Security Clearance.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of administrative experience, coupled with strong customer service skills.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel); knowledge of general office procedures including filing, faxing, professional phone etiquette, and the preparation of correspondence and reports; efficient processing of visitors and issuance of badges; ability to write clearly and maintain accurate computer databases; capable of clear and audible speech for effective communication.
• Stamina: Must be able to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively, stay alert during periods of inactivity, and possess mental alertness and reliable judgment to make sound decisions.
