B-Roll Curator Intern at SexSymbol Magazine
SexSymbol Magazine is actively seeking a creative and detail-oriented B-Roll Curator Intern to join our post-production team. This vital role will support the creation of our unique documentary-style video interviews and compelling music storytelling content. Responsibilities
- Review interview transcripts and paper edits to accurately identify specific moments where B-roll footage is required to enhance the narrative.
- Source high-quality cinematic B-roll footage that compellingly supports and enriches the storytelling of each video project.
- Proactively build and meticulously maintain an organized B-roll library, ensuring assets are readily available for current and future magazine projects.
- Effectively categorize and organize footage by various criteria including theme, location, mood, and subject matter to facilitate quick and efficient retrieval.
- Promptly respond to B-roll requests from the editing team throughout the post-production process, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Work to ensure visual consistency and a cohesive aesthetic across all long-form and short-form video content produced by the magazine.
- Diligently archive unused assets for potential future use and continuously maintain the overall media library’s organization and accessibility.
Who You Are
- Demonstrably interested in film, media production, or the art of visual storytelling.
- Possess a keen eye for cinematic visuals, understanding how to select mood-setting and impactful footage.
- Highly organized and comfortable with the management and maintenance of large digital asset libraries.
- Capable of working independently, demonstrating self-motivation and reliability in meeting remote deadlines.
- Passionate about music, culture, and the engaging format of documentary-style content.
