AZA & BBG Movement Intern | BBYO
The Tone:
This is a paid internship at BBYO, located in the Washington DC Hub, with virtual options available. BBYO is a global network of professionals supporting Jewish teens, operating as the Jewish community’s largest and fastest-growing pluralistic platform to reach and inspire youth. This role is essential for strengthening the operational and programmatic support provided to Jewish teens around the world, allowing the intern to expand project management skills, learn best practices for program development, and contribute creatively to a global organization with a growing audience.

• Pay: $18.40 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Senior Director of Teen Leadership.
• Mission: Strengthen operational and programmatic support for Jewish teens globally and contribute creatively to the organization’s mission.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce, JotForm, Airtable, Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Support content generation and editing for BBYO’s Program Bank and Toolbox, including drafting templates for emails and program planning.
• Program Development: Convert immersive experiences into clear, easy-to-use program templates and research experiential vendors for various initiatives.
• Systems & Data Management: Build, manage, and learn systems within platforms like JotForm and Airtable to maintain clean, current data and review data from surveys to identify trends.
• Operational Support: Provide administrative oversight for AZA & BBG Movement Initiatives and handle in-office operational tasks such as printing, shipping, and supply preparation.
• Communication & Mentorship: Support Movement-wide communications from the Teen Leadership division and potentially mentor members of BBYO’s International Board.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited university. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Availability to work 15-19 hours per week.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent writing and editing skills; systems-minded with ease in learning technology architecture; a creative and responsible self-starter who works collaboratively and takes initiative.
• Bonus: A background in BBYO or a similar youth/Jewish organization is strongly preferred; ability to work in-person at BBYO’s Washington DC Hub is strongly preferred.
