This is an entry-level auto body repair technician role at Carvana, located in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers. What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepping: Prepare vehicles comprehensively for the paint application process, ensuring all surfaces are ready for the next stage.
• Surface Refinement: Perform detailed sanding tasks on vehicle surfaces to achieve a smooth and even texture prior to painting.
• Protection: Execute masking and taping procedures precisely to shield specific areas of vehicles from paint and overspray.
• Post-Paint: Manage the unbagging of vehicles and perform necessary tear down procedures after the paint process is complete.
• Finishing: Conduct buffing processes to polish and perfect painted surfaces, ensuring a high-quality, finished appearance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career Auto Body Repair Technician specializing in vehicle preparation.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability and proficiency in sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing techniques for vehicles.
