This is a seasonal internship at CohnReznick, located in Dallas, TX. The TL;DR

• Type: Seasonal (Winter 2028, ~January-March)
• Location: Hybrid – Dallas, TX

• Team: You will work closely on an Engagement Team, comprising other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners, serving clients across various industries including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varying by office).
• Mission: Play a key role in supporting audit teams by gaining hands-on experience with accounting and auditing practices to optimize client performance and manage risk.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement Support: Work on various aspects of an audit engagement, including managing cash, performing bank reconciliations, handling accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing essential audit work papers.
• Assurance Services Assistance: Provide direct assistance with audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as general accounting services for diverse clients.
• Issue Resolution Participation: Actively participate in resolving audit issues by effectively obtaining necessary evidence and making insightful inquiries of clients.
• Client Workflow Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to assist efficiently with the daily client workflow, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. This is an Entry-Level role designed for college students passionate about accounting.
• Experience: On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility; minimum 3.2 GPA in both your major and overall; successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher; demonstrated leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills; demonstrate sharp critical thinking abilities; comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change; advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; eagerness to learn new technologies.
