The Tone:
This is a seasonal audit internship with CohnReznick, located in Austin, Texas, typically running from January to March. What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement Support: Work on various aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Service Assistance: Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services for diverse clients.
• Issue Resolution: Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining necessary evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Workflow Contribution: Assist the team with daily client workflow and support the overall audit process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Experience: Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall, successful completion of Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher, and leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
