Job Title: Audit Winter 2026 Internship
Location: Charlotte, NC
Internship Period: January to March 2026 (end date varies by office/team).
Work Model: Hybrid – Team members are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.
Team Structure: Interns will work closely with a team comprising other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries Served: The firm serves a variety of clients across industries, including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (client industries may vary by office).

Your Role (Responsibilities): As an Audit Winter Intern, you will learn accounting and auditing procedures and perform them according to firm standards accurately, thoroughly, and timely. Key responsibilities include:
• Working on all aspects of an audit engagement, such as cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making client inquiries, while supporting the team with daily client workflow.
Your Experience (Qualifications): The firm seeks highly dedicated students who are driven by challenges, growth opportunities, and are team players committed to world-class client service and industry immersion.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 and September 2027 to be eligible for CPA licensure.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall.
• Successful completion of at least two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
• Held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualification: Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
Work Authorization Requirement: Successful candidates must provide proof of work authorization, such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
