This is an internship at Forvis Mazars US, located in Oklahoma City. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in audit, helping interns explore a career in public accounting by working on client engagements and developing essential skillsets alongside senior staff and management. Interns will gain exposure to a variety of industries and test their technical know-how.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit: Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Analysis: Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Reporting: Help to draft management letter comments and contribute to the final audit report.
• Collaboration: Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility, demonstrating solid technical accounting knowledge, satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework, and maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: This is an entry-level internship with no prior experience required. Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person.
• Skills: Effective time management, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with a team as well as independently, a problem-solving attitude, and close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
