What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax/Audit Assistance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and participate in assurance engagements.
• Client Support: Support clients in tax research and planning strategies, and teams in evaluating internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and documentation to identify tax-saving opportunities, compliance considerations, or potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to deliver innovative and practical tax solutions and help clients maintain compliance with evolving accounting standards.
• Documentation & Testing: Participate in testing procedures and audit documentation, with potential travel to client sites for audit engagements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Accounting major pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with an interest in pursuing a full-time career in public accounting.
• Experience: Minimum 3.3 GPA; proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; on track to meet CPA eligibility requirements; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated initiative, and strong attention to detail; ability to work effectively and collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Bonus: A clear plan for completing the required CPA coursework and examination process; demonstrated leadership potential.
