Job Description: Audit Internship
This internship offers in-depth exposure to the auditing profession, providing experience with the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and learn about current industry issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Auditing client financials, transactions and internal control processes.
• Sharpening analytical skills through data analysis and process flow automation.
• Working independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Delivering exceptional audit client service.
• Working on diverse client engagements across various industries including manufacturing, healthcare, education, and financial institutions.
• Participating in benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, and employee stock ownership plans.
• Taking initiative and seeking on-the-job learning opportunities.
• Upholding Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
Skills and Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or similar degree.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to travel.
Wage Range: $24.00 to $38.00 hourly.
