What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Gain an understanding of the audit process for local government engagements.
• Analyze: Test key elements of client financial statements.
• Ensure: Perform testing to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Build: Establish working relationships with client personnel.
• Contribute: Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service and engage in various accounting projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status at the time of the internship; engaged in an accounting, cost accounting, or auditing program at a college or university.
• Experience: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during business hours throughout the internship (January-April); authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with a varied team.
