• Mission: Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures to support engagement leaders and serve clients, utilizing educational knowledge and experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Interaction: Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner, working with clients to gather necessary information.
• Audit Procedures: Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures in accordance with firm and professional standards, as directed by engagement leaders.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare or review client-prepared financial statements, footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs.
• Data Analysis & Efficiency: Use data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns, and proactively identify improvement opportunities in processes to enhance efficiency.
• Communication: Communicate promptly with engagement leaders regarding open items, testing problems, or other important matters.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, with completion of a corporate or individual taxation class required.
• Experience: Above average knowledge in accounting, demonstrated by a college GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred. Candidates must be working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Skills: Ability to think independently and make sound decisions; good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff; ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
