Job Description: Audit Intern
This internship program offers a real-world introduction to the auditing profession within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice. As an intern, you will gain valuable experience and learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, participate in networking activities, and gain exposure to current issues impacting the industry.
What You’ll Do:
• Sharpen your analytical skills: Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Learn key audit concepts: Apply risk assessment principles and design and execute audit procedures responsive to those risks.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology: Employ advanced audit tools and technologies utilizing artificial intelligence, data analytics, and process automation to analyze client data.

Qualifications:
• Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or a related field.
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum requirements for CPA eligibility.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on your assigned work, clients, and industry/sectors.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
• Preferred:
• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or a related field.
Compensation:
• A reasonable estimate of the current wage range is $24.77/hour to $44.77/hour. Compensation decisions are made on a case-by-case basis considering factors like skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
