Job Description: Audit Internship

This internship program provides a real-world introduction to the auditing profession within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice. As an intern, you’ll gain in-depth exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You’ll be guided by experienced professionals, participate in networking activities, and learn about current industry trends and career development opportunities.

During your internship, you will:

Sharpen your analytical skills: Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
Learn from experienced professionals: Work closely with audit team members to apply concepts of risk assessment, design audit procedures, and execute them using cutting-edge tools and technologies.
Utilize advanced technology: Employ artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to perform data interrogation and analysis.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or related field
• Definitive plans to meet minimum requirements for CPA eligibility
• Ability to travel up to 50% (on average) based on client needs and industry/sector
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

Preferred:
• Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or related field

Compensation:
The wage range for this role is estimated between $26.65/hour to $39.98/hour, taking into account factors like skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and other organizational needs.
