What You’ll Actually Do
• Perform substantive auditing procedures in designated areas of the audit.
• Understand the scope and purpose of assigned audit tasks.
• Document performed tests and procedures in working papers to support audit conclusions.
• Monitor for proper and consistent application of accounting principles during audit procedures.
• Identify and document control deficiencies or other issues requiring management’s attention.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with at least two years of university education completed, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Strong written and oral communication, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a high degree of discretion with confidential information.
