Job Description: Audit Internship

This internship offers an opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and the daily responsibilities of an auditor. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable guidance and learning about current issues shaping the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Sharpen analytical skills through hands-on experience.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of talented professionals.
• Deliver exceptional client service.
• Utilize advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
• Participate in diverse client engagements across various industries, including:
• Manufacturing and distribution
• Not-for-profit
• Government
• Healthcare
• Education
• Construction
• Dealerships
• Food and agriculture
• Insurance
• Financial institutions
• Benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.
• Take initiative and seek on-the-job learning opportunities.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on delivering exceptional value to clients.

Skills and Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Accounting or similar degree.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to travel.

Compensation:

• hourly wage range: $24.00 to $38.00.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
