2027 Audit Internship – Wenatchee | Larson Gross

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Larson Gross, located in Wenatchee, WA. This internship offers students the opportunity to experience a career in public accounting, gaining hands-on experience in financial auditing and client service. The role matters by helping to develop foundational skills for future accounting professionals and contributing to audit engagements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Procedures: Assist with substantive audit procedures and testing.
• Documentation: Prepare and document audit workpapers.
• Analysis: Review and analyze financial information to identify trends or inconsistencies.
• Process Participation: Participate in walkthroughs of financial and operational processes.
• Learning: Learn about internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: No previous accounting or internship experience is required.
• Skills: Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, clear communication and an ability to collaborate with others, an analytical and problem-solving mindset, organization and time-management skills.
• Bonus: Intention to pursue CPA licensure, previous accounting or internship experience.
