Job Description: Audit and Assurance – Winter Internship (January-March)

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) winter internship in Crowe’s Audit and Assurance practice. Interns will gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession, working closely with experienced professionals. Responsibilities include:

Auditing: Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. This involves using Crowe’s audit tools and technologies, including advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.
Client Interaction: Delivering exceptional audit client service. Working collaboratively with a diverse team on various client engagements.
Client Diversity: Exposure to a wide range of clients across diverse industries including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions. Experience may also include benefit plan audits (401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans).
Teamwork and Initiative: Working independently and as part of a team, taking initiative, and seeking on-the-job learning opportunities.

Skills and Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with data analytics (strongly desired).
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel (evenings or weekends may be required).

Compensation: The estimated hourly wage range is $27.00 – $42.00, but the actual compensation will depend on various factors.
