Job Description:

Audit and Assurance Internship:

This internship provides in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learn about current industry issues, and sharpen your analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Working independently and collaboratively with a team of audit professionals.
• Utilizing advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
• Contributing to diverse client engagements across industries like manufacturing, healthcare, government, and more.
• Potential to work on benefit plan audits (401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans).

Skills and Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with data analytics is highly desired.
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly wage range for this internship is $24.00 to $38.00.
