Audit & Assurance Intern – Fall 2027 | CCK Strategies

The Tone:
This is an internship at CCK Strategies, located in Tulsa, OK, with required travel. This role is crucial for delivering value and quality assurance services to clients at every stage of their organization’s life cycle. The intern will execute detailed work plans, cultivate relationships, and contribute to providing effective client solutions.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship

• Team: Works within teams and across firm departments, assisting Staff and Seniors.
• Mission: Add value and provide quality assurance services to clients throughout their organizational life cycle.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare engagement workpapers by assisting Staff and Seniors.
• Document workpapers thoroughly, meeting firm and industry standards.
• Stay informed on current audit and accounting standards.
• Identify and communicate engagement risks, applying fundamental accounting principles.
• Manage assigned sections of each engagement to complete within budget.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated mastery of basic accounting concepts.
• Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Effective time management with changing priorities.
• Ability to adapt to a wide variety of projects.
• Critical thinking to independently resolve issues.
• Bonus:
• Ability to travel to client locations locally and out of state.
• An advisory mindset and enjoyment of working with entrepreneurial clients.
