Job Description:
Audit and Assurance Internship:
This internship offers in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and provides a hands-on understanding of an auditor’s daily responsibilities. You will work closely with experienced audit professionals, learn about current industry issues, and utilize advanced tools and technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Utilize audit tools and technologies including advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service.
• Work on diverse client engagements across industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, government, and finance.
• Participate in benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.
Skills and Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with data analytics (highly desired).
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, etc.)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to travel.
Wage Range:
$24.00 to $38.00 hourly.
