The Tone:
This is an internship at CCK Strategies, likely located in Tulsa, OK, with potential for client travel. The Audit & Assurance team partners with organizations throughout their life cycle to provide quality assurance services, including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations. • Mission: Execute detailed work plans and cultivate client relationships to deliver value and quality assurance services to entrepreneurial clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Workpaper Preparation: Prepare engagement workpapers, supporting staff and seniors in the audit process.
• Documentation Completion: Complete detailed workpaper documentation in accordance with established firm and industry standards.
• Standard Adherence: Remain current with audit and accounting standards, applying basic accounting principles to assignments.
• Risk Identification: Identify and communicate potential areas of risk within the engagement team.
• Client Interaction: Work directly with clients as necessary and complete assigned sections of each engagement within budgeted parameters.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. In process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Mastery of basic accounting concepts; demonstrate inquisitiveness in approaching tasks.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective time management in a dynamic environment; ability to adapt to a wide variety of projects; critical thinking to independently resolve challenges; able to travel to client locations both locally and occasionally out of state as needed.
