What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Attend client engagement meetings to determine timelines and goals for audits.
• Business Research: Research business trends to assist the team in professionally representing the company and applying knowledge to client solutions.
• Report Preparation: Prepare accounting-related reports within a paperless environment.
• Technical Training: Attend technical training sessions focused on auditing software.
The Must-Haves
• Background: You are working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and are on track to sit for your CPA license. This is an entry-level internship opportunity focused on building a foundation in assurance services.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required, given this is an internship. However, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship. The role involves 10-40% travel to different client locations to assist with engagements.
• Skills: Possess an inquisitive nature and enjoy learning about various client business processes. Demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities and a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Maintain the highest professional standards and ensure strict client confidentiality in all work. Show interest in a variety of industries and the challenge of working on audit engagements.
