2027 Assurance Summer Intern | EisnerAmper

The Tone:
This is a hybrid internship at EisnerAmper, located in Boston, MA. EisnerAmper is one of the largest accounting, tax, and business advisory firms, comprising nearly 4,500 employees and over 450 partners globally. This role is crucial for performing detailed verification procedures on clients’ financial statements, ensuring professional integrity, and building lasting partnerships based on trust and solutions within the firm’s Assurance Group.

The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Verify: Perform detailed verification procedures necessary for examining clients’ financial statements.
• Engage: Work on both public and private client engagements as part of the assurance team.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the assurance team to perform necessary financial statement examinations.
• Innovate: Participate in continued education and adopt new technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Advise: Act as a trusted third party, providing solutions and due diligence for clients to build peace of mind.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent program from an accredited college or university. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience. Must have availability to work 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, in a hybrid setting with a minimum of 3 days in-person. Ability to complete the entire Summer Internship Program starting June 7, 2027. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, strong time management, organizational skills, work ethic, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Bonus: Pursuing minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (150 academic credits or a master’s degree in accounting). Final Graduation Date between December 2027 and September 2028. Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0). Ability to work independently and with a team.
