Federal Tax Services Associate (Fall 2027/Winter 2028) | RSM US LLP

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Collaboration: Work within teams focused on diverse tax specialty areas, including accounting for income taxes, corporate taxation, and federal credits.
• Tax Expertise: Complete comprehensive tax planning and research for clients across various industries.
• Return Preparation: Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Regulatory Compliance: Understand and apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements to client engagements.
• Client Engagement: Build strong working relationships with clients by understanding their businesses and challenges.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Travel to assigned client locations is required with access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Excel; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively on a team; ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA; actively working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam.
