Associate Project Manager | RemoteHunter
The Tone:
This is an entry-level, full-time remote role with RemoteHunter’s client, located remotely in the United States. The organization develops software solutions that support vocational counselors and the individuals they serve, addressing the need for accessible, secure, and user-centered technology since 1981. This Associate Project Manager role supports the Product Operations Team by assisting in the coordination and management of software implementation projects. This position contributes to the successful delivery of projects by supporting planning, scheduling, documentation, and communication efforts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Coordination: Assist in planning and monitoring software implementation and customization projects under senior guidance.
• Documentation Management: Maintain project plans, schedules, templates, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to processes.
• Communication & Reporting: Prepare customer status reports, meeting notes, and manage the distribution of communications.
• Relationship Building: Build positive customer relationships and support primary project managers in project activities and meetings.
• Process Support: Track project deliverables, support project processes including change requests, and review project scope for alignment with agreements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. This is an entry-level position designed to develop project management skills.
• Experience: No explicit prior experience is required; a willingness to learn software implementation and project management practices is essential.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bonus: CAPM certification or ability to obtain, experience in software or professional services environments, familiarity with project coordination, and experience with relevant industries and tools.
