What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work closely with professionals across various departments within the firm.
• Advise: Deliver high-quality strategic and financial advice to clients.
• Support: Play an important role within a team that includes senior professionals.
• Analyze: Go beyond standard numerical analysis to think creatively about client solutions.
• Execute: Contribute to the successful execution of M&A transactions and other deals across diverse industry sectors.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field or foreign equivalent; this role is for an experienced professional at the Associate or Vice President level.
• Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience within the investment banking industry, or at least 1-3 years of post-MBA experience, demonstrating a proven track record of working on and executing deals across M&A and various industry sectors.
• Skills: Requires an extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment, strong written and verbal communication skills, effective client and interpersonal skills, commercial instinct, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Bonus: An MBA and/or CFA designation would be an asset, and candidates must either possess or be able to obtain required Series licensing.
