Global Mobility Tax – Associate | Vialto

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Vialto Partners, located in Stamford, CT, requiring three days in the office. What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare & Analyze: Develop US individual income tax returns and cost projections for inbound and outbound international employees, thoroughly researching and analyzing pertinent tax laws, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborate & Network: Share insights and collaborate effectively with team members and problem solvers, while also building and maintaining strong internal and external professional networks.
• Data & Improvements: Responsibly handle, manipulate, and analyze complex data and information, identifying opportunities and making suggestions for process improvements and digital solutions.
• Compliance & Risk: Follow all risk management and compliance procedures to ensure clients and their employees enjoy a seamless and compliant global mobility experience.
• Communicate & Advise: Confidently and clearly communicate findings, solutions, and advice in an articulate manner through both written materials and verbal interactions with clients and Vialto management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration/Management, or International Business. This is an early career role designed for problem solvers.
• Experience: Proven ability to prepare US individual income tax returns and cost projections for international employees. Experience researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations is also required.
• Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving ability, capacity to prioritize multiple tasks, and confident, clear, and concise communication skills. Proficiency in handling, manipulating, and analyzing data.
• Bonus: Ability with automation and digitization in a professional services environment, including exploring new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions, and working with large, complex data sets to build models and apply data visualization tools.
