Fall 2027 Accounting and Technology Associate | BRG

This role is crucial for helping clients interpret intricate financial, operational, accounting, technological, and business issues tied to legal, regulatory, and investigative matters. The Associate will contribute to transforming complex data into clear, reliable insights for corporations, legal counsel, and other clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze financial statements, accounting records, operational data, and other business information to extract insights.
• Calculation Support: Support damages analyses, business interruption calculations, valuation work, claim preparation, and investigative findings.
• Financial Modeling: Assist with reconstructing financial information, developing financial models, and identifying key trends or anomalies.
• Deliverable Preparation: Help prepare expert reports, trial demonstratives, presentations, exhibits, and other client deliverables.
• Investigation Support: Support client interviews, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, discovery efforts, internal controls assessments, and risk mitigation work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics or another related subject, with an expected graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
• Experience: Early career professional with hands-on experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and preparing client deliverables during academic studies or internships.
• Skills: Strong quantitative, research, problem-solving, and written communication skills; attention to detail and intellectual curiosity; willingness to consider becoming a CPA.
• Bonus: 3.6 GPA or higher preferred; experience with statistical, data analysis, or programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL or similar platforms; fluency with AI tools.
