Associate, Account and Engagement Finance Services | Deloitte

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deloitte, involving travel to various office locations or client sites. Deloitte’s GPS Engagement Financial Advisor (EFA) team supports engagement teams by defining contractual requirements, detailing staffing and forecast items, and providing realistic cost estimates using advanced financial techniques. This role is crucial for supporting the financial processes that keep client projects on track and within budget, contributing to real impact in the marketplace.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support account and engagement financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare: Prepare, review, and maintain financial data for client accounts and engagements across multiple workstreams.
• Track: Track financial activity and identify variances, discrepancies, and items requiring follow-up.
• Analyze: Use financial systems and reporting tools to analyze data and support account management activities.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to support engagement financial operations and meet reporting deadlines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in a finance or financial analysis role.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and 1+ years summarizing results and producing management reports.
• Skills: Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product; effective written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team; ability to build and sustain professional relationships; and capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience in a professional services environment; experience supporting account or engagement financial management activities; experience preparing financial reports for leadership or business stakeholders; and experience with enterprise resource planning platforms or customer relationship management systems.
