An Associate Director, PRISMA Consortium position is available within the Milken Institute School of Public Health’s Department of Global Health. This is a leadership role focused on developing, maintaining, and advancing research awards for the Pregnancy Risk, Infant Surveillance, and Measurement Alliance (PRISMA) Consortium, which is funded by the Gates Foundation and led by Dr. Emily Smith.

  • Set functional strategies and objectives focusing on mid-term operational plans (1-2 years) that align with the research group and funder strategy.
  • Serve as the primary authority for ensuring all research activities adhere to university, state, and international regulations.
  • Maintain data use agreements and systematize procedures for processing external data sharing requests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related discipline.
  • 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in public health or epidemiology.
  • Demonstrated success in funding procurement, award administration, and financial management for scientific grants.
