• Mission: This role is responsible for performing diverse accounting functions and analyses to support the Insurance Accounting Operations team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Billing: Perform billing activities.
• Cash Application: Process incoming cash receipts and apply funds to appropriate receivables.
• Accounts Payable: Perform accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, check requests, and electronic payments.
• Month-End Activities: Prepare month-end close journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Operational Support: Respond to inquiries, participate in projects, and maintain desktop procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 0+ years of experience. Experience preparing accounting entries, reconciliations, and payments. Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Workday, or Coupa.
• Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables), strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Bonus: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
