The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at TreeHouse Foods, located in De Pere, WI. TreeHouse Foods is a leading manufacturer of private label packaged foods and beverages, operating numerous production facilities and corporate offices across the United States and Canada. This role is crucial for supporting the Accounting & Finance organization by ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end close and preparation of financial statements, directly impacting the company’s mission to make high quality, affordable food.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, complete account reconciliations, analyze account activity, investigate variances, and support other month-end close activities.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly internal financial packages and external reporting requirements.
• Process Improvement: Support projects focused on improving reporting, increasing efficiency, and strengthening overall finance processes.
• Audit & Controls: Assist with the administration of the account reconciliation tool, participate in internal control reviews, and support internal and external audits.
• Tech Innovation: Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence tools to improve process efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: At least two years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with expertise in record-to-report, audit, or financial reporting.
• Skills: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Bonus: CPA designation, or experience with SAP, BPC, BlackLine, or similar accounting tools.
