What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a diverse team of data warehouse specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Platform Design & Implementation: Architect and implement robust data warehouse designs, collaborating with business units and IT teams to translate requirements into actionable specifications.
• Data Operations Optimization: Manage and optimize data operations, including ingestion, transformation, and loading, to ensure efficient data services.
• Data Governance & Security: Ensure the security and governance of the data warehouse, implementing best practices and compliance measures to protect sensitive data.
• Platform Availability & Performance: Lead the patching and maintenance of the data platform, maintaining high availability, performance, and reliability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data warehousing, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex data platforms and initiatives; demonstrated experience in data security, governance, and compliance; familiarity with data platform upgrades, patching, and maintaining high availability.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloudera, Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, Data Bricks, and NoSQL platforms; strong leadership, mentorship, and team motivation skills; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities; analytical thinking to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights; a proactive approach to problem-solving and staying updated on emerging technologies.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in a related field.
